Lisa from Feeding Our Roots is a master gardener, who knows Calgary’s unique climate and how to find success with flowers and vegetables. We wanted to portray her expert knowledge, following the seasonality of planting, from winter planning to fully blooming summer in her incredible gardens. Her family and the health of the earth are at the forefront of her business, so we had to include that in her photos to tell the whole story of her business and her “why” for the passionate work she does.

Life & Fitness, Coach & mentor

Nathaniel Agoye is on a mission to redefine masculinity, helping men live lives that are wholehearted, vulnerable and healthy, physically and mentally, so they can attain their dreams and find joy. We wanted to help portray his journey and where it has brought him to today. He’s a devoted husband, father and entrepreneur who works at finding balance and health in his every day life. His multi-faceted story meant weaving together all those different portraits to tell his one incredible story, to connect deeply with his clients.

Downtown Calgary branding session

This business coach had just redone her branding, complete with logo and brand colours, and was ready to launch her business into the next phase. We helped plan the outfits, props and accessories to match her brand’s colours so the photos would match cohesively with her logo and website. We helped portray her fresh perspective and energetic personality through these character-focused portraits.

Outdoor & in-studio artist brand shoot

For this artist’s outdoor and in-studio, downtown Calgary Branding Shoot, we wanted to reflect Kristina’s talent, passion, and personality, while also telling her story and her journey to becoming an artist. Sentimental items inherited from her artist grandmother were included in the props we thoughtfully chose, as well as art from all eras of her journey as an artist, to really help connect her to her clients.

Calgary boutique owner & designer

Chantel Renee is a passionate, online boutique owner who’s working towards selling her own stunning designs. Her focus is on clothes every woman can feel comfortable and powerful in, especially as our bodies change throughout motherhood and our lives. We really wanted to portray her focus on taking care of ourselves and her eye for timeless style. Whether she’s working online or styling in-person, focusing on her story as a business owner, designer, and an advocate of self compassion is the story we portrayed.

This unstoppable Calgary Building & Design dream team breathe new life into old homes, paving the way for new stories to be written within their walls. We wanted to capture the beauty and quality of their work while also creating photographs that capture their process, passion and expertise. While they create spaces for home owners to make memories, they also write the story of their business and their journey as an incredible husband & wife team, and that’s the story that we captured for them here.
